I would officially like to announce my social impact, Project 566. My dad dedicated 20 years to the Mullinville Fire Department. As soon as he turned 18 he began to volunteer as a firefighter. He single handedly built numerous fire trucks for the county. After all his hard work he became Kiowa County Fire Chief. 566 was his fire number and will always have a special place in my heart. I will give all the credit to @whitneykregar for coming up with the name.
Now after bragging on my dad, what is Project 566? It is all about perspective. It is my mission to help kids my age and adults to understand grief. I want to provide resources to people who may not know how to help a grieving family. Most importantly I just want to be real and raw about the lifelong journey of grief.
Words cannot describe how excited I am for things to come in the future for Project 566.
