Raipur, 06 April 2020 In response to the letter Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting payment of pending wages and also advance payment of wages for next three months under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, Central Government has sanctioned Rs 682.29 crores.

Raipur. 02 April 2020 The Department of Panchayat and Rural Development has directed to start the individual and livelihood promotion works under MNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme) in order to avoid corona infection and adhere to social distancing. The department has asked to start work by sanctioning more and more works requiring lesser number of workers.
