Jan 27, 2023 Auburn, Alabama: Miss Universe 2022, R’Bonney Gabriel as Miss USA 2022 crowned her successor, the 1st Runner-up of her court, Miss NCUSA, Morgan Romano Miss USA 2022 at the Preliminary Competition of the Miss Alabama USA and Miss Alabama Teen USA 2023 Pageants in presence of 73 Contestants along with many distinguished guests at the The 1,202-seater and 90-foot-wide stage Woltosz Theatre.
Newly crowned by inheritance Morgan Romano Miss USA 2022 is a Chemical Engineer from University of South Carolina who Lives in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Miss USA 2022, Morgan Romano, is from North Carolina. She has a passion for STEM education for children and spends her free time volunteering with Project Scientist, an after-school program that provides a high quality STEM curriculum to young girls.
Morgan is an alumna of the University of South Carolina where she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering in 2020. She is currently an Application Engineer at R.E. Mason in Charlotte, NC.

Last night I was named 1st runner up to our beautiful new Miss USA 2022. I have received thousands of notes of support, encouragement, and love and I couldn’t be more grateful. So many people have believed in me and poured into me for years and years. The pure joy that I felt in that moment was something that I will never forget or take for granted.
