Mungeli Child begging and De-addiction Campaign

Mungeli: Campaign will run for child begging and de-addiction in the district: District Child Protection Committee meeting chaired by Collector Mr. Elma concludes

Collector Shri P.S. A meeting of the District Child Protection Committee was held in the Maniyari Sabha Room at the District Collectorate under the chairmanship of Elma.

In the meeting, information was received regarding the work being done in relation to child protection. Collector Mr. Elma said that child begging and various types of intoxication is a social evil. It is everyone's responsibility to overcome it.

He has given instructions to run a campaign for child begging and de-addiction in the district from November.

In the meeting, in connection with the pending cases in the Juvenile Justice Board and the Child Welfare Committee, survey for the identification of children in distress, health testing of the children residing in the child care organization, the work being done by the child line and the conduct of the child line project. Obtained information and gave necessary instructions to the concerned.

On this occasion, members of the committee, Chief Nurture Officer of District Panchayat, Mrs. Nupur Rashi Panna, District Program Officer of Women and Child Development Department Mr. Rajendra Kashyap, Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Mahadev Tendway, Civil Surgeon cum Chief Hospital Superintendent Dr. R. K. Bhuriya, District Program Manager of National Health Mission, Mr. Utkarsh Tiwari, Tribal Development Department Ms. Shilpa Sai and other members of the committee were present.
