Hotels, restaurants, clubs and bars will remain open till 10.00 pm

Mungeli 02 June 2021 Collector and District Magistrate Shri P.S. Elma has restricted public movement and other activities in the district to prevent Kovid-19 infection. In the present circumstances, despite the reduction in the rate of infection, it is necessary to continue with reasonable restrictions on public transport and other activities. Keeping in view the present circumstances, the order has been issued under the powers conferred by Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code 1973, Section 30, 34 of the Disaster Management Act 2005 read with the Epidemic Act 1987 as amended in 2020. According to the order issued, various activities will be completely prohibited till further orders.
 All types of permanent and temporary shops, shopping malls, commercial establishments, super markets, super markets, fruit and vegetable markets/markets, grain markets, showrooms, clubs, liquor shops, handcarts, salons, beauty parlors, spas, parks and gyms etc. They can be opened on other days except Sundays from their prevailing timings till 06.00 PM. Similarly, hotels, restaurants, clubs and bars will be open till 10.00 pm. Outside dining will also be allowed, but not more than 50 percent of their seating capacity will be allowed in the dining hall. Hotels, restaurants will give priority to online, home delivery and take-away on telephonic orders. The delivery time from Clubs, Restaurants, Hotels will be from 09.00 AM to 10.00 PM. In-house hotel guests can use the hotel's own restaurant, kitchenette. Matrimonial programs will be allowed to be held in residences, hotels and marriage halls subject to strict adherence to the protocol of Kovid-19, in which the total number of persons attending will be 50. Similarly, the total maximum number of persons participating in funeral, Dashgatra etc. death related programs will be 20. During any one event in the hotel/marriage hall, only a maximum of 50 persons can attend, subject to the limit of 50 percent of the capacity of the marriage hall, including all the parties, the list of which will be maintained by the operator of the marriage hall.
All offices under Mungeli district will open up. With the regular presence of all the first and second class officers in government offices and 50 percent roster fixed by the head of the office of subordinate employees, they will be opened for official and general public for urgent purpose but will generally remain closed for the general public. The Deputy Registrar offices will operate with the earlier token/online system with the necessary staff. Permission to operate the office related to Telecom, Postal, Railway will be undone. All hospitals, medical shops, clinics and veterinary hospitals will be allowed to operate within their stipulated time. Medical shop operators will give priority to home delivery of medicines for patients. Petrol pumps, gas agencies and medical shops will be open for the full time period, but gas agencies will give priority to on-site delivery of gas cylinders to customers through telephonic or online orders. Government fair price shops will be allowed to operate with token arrangement within the stipulated time period, subject to strict adherence to the condition of masks, physical distancing, regular sanitization and no overcrowding. It will be mandatory to have free distribution in all operated shops, establishments, to keep masks for sale and to keep sanitizers for the use of the employees and customers working in the shop. Also, it will be mandatory to wear a mask and strictly follow physical distancing during home delivery. Night curfew will be in force every day from 06.00 pm to 06.00 am, during which delivery from petrol pumps, medical shops, hotel restaurants and loading and unloading of bulk goods, warehouses, cargo, fruits, vegetables will be allowed within the stipulated time period.

Except for emergency movement, all other activities will be banned. All business activities will be closed on every Sunday. During this time only hospital, clinic, medical shop, veterinary hospital, petrol pump, gas agency, PDS and vegetable, fruit shop, milk distribution, news paper, home delivery from hotels, restaurants will be allowed. During the journey in emergency, maximum 04 persons including driver in 04 wheelers, maximum 03 including driver in auto and maximum 02 persons in two wheeler will be allowed to travel. The general public is directed to come out of the houses only when it is absolutely necessary and follow social distancing while wearing a mask while leaving. Use of dual masks is required in crowded areas. All swimming pools, cinema halls, theaters, water parks, theme parks, Chowpatty and places of mass gathering will be strictly prohibited for the general public. Schools and colleges will remain closed for the students. Only the students appearing for the examination will be allowed accommodation in the hostel. Coaching classes and all other educational activities will remain closed except for all examinations permitted by the government. All types of rallies, processions, dharnas, demonstrations, social, political, sports, cultural and religious events will be strictly prohibited.
      It will be mandatory to strictly follow the mask and physical distancing. Action will be taken to impose fine as per rules and seal the shop, mall, hall for 30 days if any shop, mall, hall is collected in violation of physical distancing or for violating the instructions issued by the state government, this office. The operation of any service permitted by the State Government or a special order of this office shall be permitted. Following the use of masks, physical distancing, social distancing, hand washing and sanitizer will be done by the concerned shop, establishment. Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 will remain in force in the district. Strict action will be taken against persons and establishments violating this order as per section 51-60 of Disaster Management Japan, 2005 and other relevant law. This order is required to be implemented in a short period of time. At present, this order is passed ex-parte due to not being possible to serve in due time to the persons affected by this order. This order will be effective immediately and will remain in force till further orders.
