Photo Exhibition being organized in Divisions, Districts, Blocks, as Chhattisgarh government completes two years of its term

A good picture is worth a thousand words. Public Relations Department has utilized this power of pictures to create awareness about government schemes in the remote vilages of the state. The series of photo exhibitions being organized by the Department from Divisional Headquarters to district and block-level is recieving tremedous response from public. Large number of people from rural areas are visiting these photo exhibitions and gaining information about the schemes and achievements of state government. Even the illiterate people are easily accessing the information about schemes in form of pictures.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, Chhattisgarh Government has completed two years of its term, on account of which Public Relations has started organizing photo exhibitions from December 17. Along with the information about various schemes, these photo exhibitions are also based on the achievements of State Government in last two years. Informative promotional material is also being distributed to the visitors of these photo exhibition. Theme of these exhibitions is ‘Nava Chhattisgarh: Baat Hai Swabhimaan Ki Chhattisgarh ke Abhimaan Ki’. These exhibitions have made people aware of the history of various cities and districts. For example: The exhibition was held in the capital Raipur at the Swami Vivekananda Garden premise, located at the historic Budha Talab. In Jagdalpur, it was organized at town hall, right in front of Sirhasar Bhawan. Likewise, the photo exhibition was organized at Makai Garden in Dhamtari, while in Bijapur, it was held at cultural building. Similar photo exhibitions were held at Bazaar Dand in Jashpur and river view road in Bilaspur for four days. In these exhibitions, various public representatives including MPs, MLAs, Mayors also interacted the common people. Photos displayed at the exhibitions were widely appreciated by the visitors.

People recieved information about the development works, innovations and public friendly policies and achievements of the government in last two years. In the exhibitions, photographs based on Chief Minister Haat Bazar Clinic Scheme, Mukhyamantri Suposhan Abhiyan, Dr. Khubchand Baghel Health Assistance Scheme, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyaya Yojana, Chief Minister Urban Slum Health Scheme, development and beautification of Raipur city, Electricity Bill Half Scheme, Development of Ram Van Gaman tourism circuit, welfare schemes for forest dependents, Narva, Garwa, Ghurwa, Bari, Rural Development, Dai-Didi clinics, Universal PDS, Garh Kalewa scheme, Pauni Pasari scheme, supply of clean drinking water, Padhai Tunhar Duar etc. are being displayed.

On completion of two years of Chhattisgarh Government, #CGSwabhimanKe2Saal is trending on social media. After visiting the photo exhibition, Susheel Prakash said that he recieved valuable information about the development works being done in the state. More such events should be organized in future. Mr. Tushar Dewangan said that pro-public schemes of Chhattisgarh Government have strengthened the rural economy. Godhan Nyay Yojana is one of its kind scheme which has transformed the lives of people. Mr. Rakesh Patle said that he was not aware of Chief Minister Slum Health Scheme, he learnt about this scheme at the photo exhibition.
Mr. Ajit Sahu said that photo exhibition is an effective medium to create public awareness about the works being done by government. He said that he regularly listens to Lokvani, the radio talk of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. Mr. Vinod Prajapati said that not only is the exhibition great, brochures and pamphlets are also very useful.
Till date, Photo Exhibitions have been organized in all five divisional headquarters and all 28 district headquarters of Chhattisgarh . Exhibitions are now being held in block headquarters as well.
