Fair price shoppers will have to enter the POS Machine within 48 hours on receipt of ration material

There is no difference between the quantity of lifting of ration items from the Food Corporation of India and the ration items received by the fair price shopkeepers, for this, now the fair price shoppers in the state will enter the ration items received from the Food Corporation of India within a period of 48 hours in the post machine. Government Secretary of Food and Civil Supplies Department Shri Naveen Jain was giving directions to the departmental officers during the meeting held at the Government Secretariat. He said that all the godowns of Food Corporation of India will be geo tagged. He instructed the concerned officials to compulsorily transport GPS devices to the trucks. He said that geo-tagging of 26 thousand ration dealers will be done by February 5 and E-KYC will be done soon.
Ration will be supplied from a hand held machine
The Secretary said that a hand held machine will be purchased by the Food Department and the Corporation for the logistics vigilance inspectors working at all the depots of the Food Corporation of India, so that the challan can be generated easily by this machine. He informed that challan will be generated immediately while filling ration material from Food Corporation of India depots. One copy of which will be kept at fair price shopkeeper, second copy for driver and third copy will be kept in corporation's records.
The Secretary said that necessary action will be taken for early disposal of cases of all ration dealers in the state. He directed the departmental officers that attachment of more than one ration shops should not be done. He directed the concerned officials to take necessary action regarding the payment of commission and arrears of ration dealers. He reviewed in detail the food grains distributed under NFSA, Non-NFSA and Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana.
In the meeting, Mr. V.P., Managing Director of Rajasthan State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd. Singh, Additional Food Commissioner Shri Anil Kumar Aggarwal and departmental officers were present.
