Rajkot's PDU Hospital Gets 1.5 Crore MLA Grant for Oxygen Plants

Chief Minister allots his full grant of Rs. 1.5 crore MLA Fund to PDU Hospital of Rajkot to set up oxygen plants

Gandhinagar, Monday, May 10, 2021: Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has shown noble dedication of public service for the treatment of Covid-19 patients. He has allotted the entire grant of Rs. 1.5 crore, which he receives as MLA for development work, to Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Hospital of Rajkot for setting up Oxygen plants for the purpose of Covid-19 patients’ treatment.

It is relevant to point out here that the Chief Minister, in a recent Core Committee Meeting, has decided that each MLA shall give at least Rs. 50 lakhs out of their MLA grant to purchase advanced equipment for the treatment of Covid-19 patients.

Also, if any MLA wishes, a provision has also been made to give his full MLA grant to purchase such equipment. 

Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has set an inspiring example of public service in this difficult time of Covid-19 by giving his full MLA grant of Rs. 1.5 crore to PDU Hospital of Rajkot to set up Oxygen plants.
