   Rajpipla, Gujarat, India, Tuesday, May 25, 2021:Under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of the Government of India, five new medical colleges in Gujarat starting from the next academic session have also been included in the new medical colleges of Narmada district. GMERS has given approval for construction of new medical college and hospital at Jitnagar in Rajpipla. Construction of a new medical college at Rajpipla will take shape in the coming years.
 
Currently, for the first year MBBS course of the new medical college approved at Rajpipla, the Ayurvedic Medical College building at Rajpipla will be functioning from the next academic session, P.I.U. The nodal officer and dean of Rajpipla Medical College, Dr. from Vadodara today to study and inspect the facilities as suggested. After the above visit, the medical members of the Sadarhu team visited the Narmada District Collector Shri D.A. at the Rajpipla Collectorate. In the necessary discussions and deliberations held in person, the District Collector Shri Shah is giving special priority to the overall development of the district as per the parameters prescribed by the Central Policy Commission under the Aspirational District in other fields including health education. He then instructed to take necessary action in this direction immediately with a suggestion to include in it a proposal for approval of other laboratories and other facilities required for the second year course along with the first year course of MBBS in Ayurvedic College from the next academic session.
