Bilaspur : Water cooler was released by Sims and District Hospital by Collector
Bilaspur, 8 May 2021 World Red Cross Day was observed today by the District Branch of the Indian Red Cross Society. On this occasion, a water cooler was launched in the Sims and District Hospital by the chairman of the Red Cross, Dr. Saransh Mittar, as well as PPE kit for the medical and paramedical staff treating the patients of Kovid-19, N95 mask and Sanitizers were distributed. At the same time fruits were distributed to the Kovid patients.
The collector and guests garlanded the portrait of Sir Jean Henry Dunat, the founder of Red Cross. The Collector said on the occasion that in view of the summer season, water coolers have been installed in these two hospitals with the Red Cross Fund to provide cold drinking water to the families coming for treatment of Kovid patients. He appreciated the doctors and staff engaged in the treatment of patients during this difficult period of Kovid-19 and congratulated them for their efforts. He said that with the efforts of everyone, our district will be able to get rid of Kovid infection.
Inspection of Red Cross Chemists -
The Collector also inspected the Red Cross drug store and Jan Aushadhi Kendra in Sims and District Hospital and inquired about the availability of medicines. He took information about cheap generic medicines available in Jan Aushadhi Kendras and said that wide publicity should also be done to give maximum benefit to the people.
Members of Red Cross and District Panchayat President Arun Singh Chauhan, Anil Tiwari, Dean of Sims Dr. Trupti Nagaria, CMHO Dr. Pramod Mahajan, Dr. Puneet Bhardwaj, Dr. Aarti Pandey, Saurabh Saxena were present in these programs.
