Retrofitting Scheme received to Vanavas The Forest settlements: Approximately Rs. 36 lakhs approved

On the initiative of Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudrakumar, the forest dwellers are now getting the gift of retrofitting scheme. According to the intention of the state government, better drinking water arrangements are being made in Vananchal and rural areas. Public Health Engineering Department has given administrative approval of Rs 36.07 lakh in this series. According to the information received from the department, the Gram Panchayat under Bhopalpatnam development block of Bijapur district, village Modakapalli of Cherrapalli and Awaspara, Khasapara Nayapara, Paterupara, Sarpanchpara and Schoolpara Bashat at a cost of 10 lakh 18 thousand, Gram Panchayat under Chowki development block of Rajnandgaon district, Mulhetitola Retrofitting scheme has been approved for drinking water system at a cost of 6 lakh 96 thousand in Bhagwanpara (Bhagwan Tola) and Adivasipara, Awaspara, Bandhapara, Bhagwantola and Mandirola habitations. Similarly, drinking water arrangements at Mulhetitola Village and Danteshwari Temple Lohar Para, Mulhetitola and Roadpara Basat costing 4 lakh 67 thousand and Gram Panchayat Arajkund and Harijanpara, Roadpara, Souritola and Uparpara habitations costing Rs 7 lakh 54 thousand under Chowki development block in Rajnandgaon district.
