Chief Minister amazed by fluency of Government School students in English
Raipur, 9 June 2021 Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel was surprised today when he heard children of Government English Medium School conversing in fluent English language. Chief Minister Baghel inaugurated the newly upgraded building of the Government English Medium Higher Secondary School in Balodabazar under the ambitious Swami Atmanand English Medium School Scheme of the State Government.
The program was organized in the English school premises. Kamakshi Namdev, a Class IX student of the school, spoke to the Chief Minister in fluent English without hesitation. While introducing herself in English and giving information about the facilities available in the school, Meenakshi said that she studies in class 9th in Government English Medium Higher Secondary School, Balodabazar. Our school is very good. Very good infrastructure has been developed in this school.
The academic environment is quite good and well equipped with modern facilities. The school has state-of-the-art computer lab, biolab and play ground etc for studies. All the children are very happy taking admission in this school. The Chief Minister was very happy to see the English knowledge and confidence of the children of Government English School and wished them all the best for their bright future.
