Sanjeevani Solar Based Water Supply Scheme made for forest dwellers: Minister Guru Rudrakumar: Approval of more than 50 lakhs for the settlements of Vananchal

On the initiative of Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudrakumar, the solar based mini water supply scheme has now become a lifeline for the forest dwellers. Minister Guru Rudrakumar said that as per the intention of the state government, better drinking water system is being made available through the Solar Based Drinking Water Scheme for the habitat of Vananchal. Public Health Engineering Department has sanctioned an amount of more than Rs 50 lakh for solar based drinking water schemes for the forest dwellers living in remote and inaccessible areas of Vananchal.
According to information received from departmental officials, solar based mini water supply scheme at a cost of Rs.16.38 lakh for the settlement of Patkalbeda village of village panchayat Tadoki under Antagarh development block of Kanker district, in Dusk of village Rasuli of Taraighotia village panchayat under Durgakondal development block Solar based single village mini water supply scheme has been approved at a cost of Rs.16.32 lakhs and 17.47 lakhs in Santara village of Bangachara Gram Panchayat. It is noteworthy that the solar based drinking water scheme is proving to be very effective for these habitations in Vananchal with electronegative and low voltage problems.
