Rajasthan wants Reconsideration in Amendments in Provisions of Banking Regulation Act

Jaipur, 20 October 2020. Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot wrote a letter to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said that the amendments made in the provisions of the Banking Regulation (BR) Act will adversely affect the basic spirit of the Cooperative Banks and the Cooperative movement in the states. He requested the PM to reconsider the said amendments and restore the earlier system.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot amended Rule 75 (2) of the Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1996 by accepting an ex-gratia grant of Rs 30 lakhs (ex gratia grant) on death of Kovid-19 during election duty. The related proposal is approved.
