Emphasizing on the role of rural sector in the country's economy, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today said that the road to economic revival of the country runs through agriculture and strengthening the rural economy is the only way to ensure overall growth.

Sufficient number of beds available for COVID-19 patients

Raipur 26 March 2021: Chhattisgarh State Government is making consistent efforts to ensure availability of normal as well as oxygen equipped beds in hospitals, in view of rising number of COVID cases  in the state.
    
    According to the information received from Health Department, 3523 beds are available in 30 COVID dedicated hospitals in the state, 16363 beds in 133 COVID care units and 2678 beds are available in 78 private hospitals. Dedicated Covid Hospitals have 1295 oxygen-rich beds, 365 HDU beds and 1863 common beds.

CG Corona Effects Culture Dept. Postpones All Events

All new cultural programs postponed by the Department of Culture

Due to the increasing influence of Kovid-19 in the state, all new cultural events organized by the Directorate of Culture and Archeology have been postponed. Director, Sanskriti said that new sanction, allocation, grants for all cultural programs and events sponsored by the department to other institutions will not be provided till further orders. This decision has been taken from the point of view of protection against the corona virus.
