Raipur 20 May 2020 The migrant laborers stranded in other states of the country due to the lockdown are happily completing the quarantine period by returning to their villages and towns with the help of the Chhattisgarh government to protect their areas from corona infection. They are being provided all necessary facilities in the Quarantine Center. Along with this, all health-related instructions are being followed by the health workers with constant information about their health.
Following the instructions given by the government, the local bodies and panchayats are taking full care of the needs of migrant laborers. A monitoring committee has also been formed for this, which includes Nagar Panchayat employees, SPOs and Anganwadi workers.
As many as 32 migrant laborers have been kept in the quarantine center in the Government Higher Secondary School in village Newara of Takhatpur development block in Bilaspur district, who have returned after traveling to the states of Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Gujarat etc.
28 migrant laborers from Lucknow, Mumbai, Poona, Bhopal, Hyderabad etc. have been appointed in the quarantine center set up in Government Pre Matric Scheduled Cast and Scheduled Tribe Boys Hostel of Kargiroad (Kota).
Ravindra Srivas, Sangam Kumar Shyam, Vijay Singh Shyam, etc., migrant laborers who stayed in the Quarantine Center told that they are fully satisfied with the system here and the quarantine rules made by the government to protect themselves and others from the corona epidemic. Are fully followed.
