Delegation of Public Organizations met Chief Minister to discuss about Silger incident
Raipur June 8, 2021 A delegation of public organizations met Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today at his residence office to discuss about the Silger movement. The delegation members discussed various topics related to this movement with Chief Minister Mr. Baghel. Chief Minister informed the delegation that a magisterial probe of Silger incident is being conducted at present. State Government is ready to meet the development related needs of people in the area. Mr. Baghel appealed the public organizations to come forward and cooperate with the State Government in various development works. The delegation conveyed the demand that a delegation from Silger village wants to meet Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, and Chief Minister agreed to the demand.
The delegation that paid courtesy call on Chief Minister included human rights activist Ms. Bela Bhatia, Chhattisgarh Bachao Andolan convener Mr. Alok Shukla, Chhattisgarh Kisan Sabha President Mr. Sanjay Parate and trade union organization ACTU General Secretary Mr. Bijendra Tiwari. Advisor to Chief Minister Mr. Ruchir Garg, Additional Chief Secretary Home Mr. Subrat Sahu, Special Director General of Police Mr. Ashok Juneja were also present on the occasion.
