Sat, Jan 28, 2023: Reigning Queen Katelyn Vinson Miss Alabama USA 2022 has just crown her successor, the winner against 36 Contestants, Miss Auburn-Opelika USA, Sophie Burzynski as new Miss Alabama USA 2023 at the end of Grand Finale and Coronation Night in Woltosz Theatre at Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center Auburn today on Sat, Jan 28, 2023 which commenced from 7:30 PM CST.

This year, I was given an opportunity to fulfill an important dream of mine. My sight has been set for six years and check-in begins in six days! I am bursting with gratitude for all the blessings that have come through pageantry. Thank you Auburn-Opelika for entrusting me to represent you on the Miss AL USA stage!!!
Newly crowned Alabaman Queen Sophie Burzynski Miss Alabama USA 2023, the 72ND Miss USA 2023 Contestant will represent her AL State at the upcoming 72ND Miss USA 2023 Pageant where the reigning queen R'Bonney Gabriel Miss Texas USA 2022, Miss USA 2022 & Miss Universe 2022 will crown her successor at the end of Grand Finale in the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada.

As a sophomore in high school, little did I know that signing up for my first pageant would the start of a new and exciting journey. I am so grateful for each and every person who has helped me along the way to becoming the best version of myself. I am so fortunate for all the life long friendships I have made over the years because of pageants.
