Jhalawar District Collector appealed to celebrate the festival in small houses
Jhalawar, Jaipur, Rajasthan, Saturday, 17 October 2020:
Navratri establishment will be celebrated on 17 October in Jhalawar, Durgashtami and Mahanavami on 24 October and Vijayadashami on 25 October. District Magistrate IAS Ngikya Gohain has appealed to celebrate the festivals on a small scale by staying at temples and their homes in view of the infection of the Corona virus Kovid-19 epidemic this year.
According to the order, due to Kovid-19 pandemic, large-scale programs like mass religious programs, Shobha Yatra, procession / rally etc. have been completely banned in the guide line issued from time to time by the Central and State Government. All subdivision magistrates, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and the concerned officers have been given orders to ensure compliance of the guide line.
Special vigilance and monitoring should be done in susceptible, sensitive, mixed populated areas and markets in view of Navratri establishment, Mahanavami and Vijayadashami festivals, so that communal harmony and law and order will be maintained.

During this period, no officer will leave the headquarters without permission. All the officers will maintain contact and coordination with the police officers in their respective areas and will inform every small and big incident from the resources available to the District Collector Office.
