The LA Queen KT Scannell Miss Louisiana USA 2022 has just crowned her successor The Winner against 32 Contestants, Miss Sportsman's Paradise USA, Sylvia Masters as New Miss Louisiana USA 2023 at the end of Grand Finale in Jefferson Performing Arts Center Metairie today on Sat, Feb 4, 2023 which started at 7:30pm CST / 8:30 ET / 5:30 PST.
Newly crowned Sylvia Masters Miss Louisiana USA 2023, the 72ND Miss USA 2023 Contestant will represent her LA State at the upcoming 72ND Miss USA 2023 Pageant where the reigning queen R'Bonney Gabriel Miss Texas USA 2022, Miss USA 2022 & Miss Universe 2022 will crown her successor at the end of Grand Finale in the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. She is the 10th entry in Miss USA 2023 Class and The First LAUSA Winner under new Miss USA, Miss Teen USA & Miss Universe Owner Dr. Anne Jakrajutatip.
Sylvia Masters Miss Louisiana USA 2023 answered the question "In the age of influencers, how would you use your new found platform of Miss Louisiana USA to make an impact?" to take crown home.
Sylvia Kathryn is Nicholls State University Alumni who did is schooling at Vandebilt Catholic High School. She currently lives in Lafayette but native of Houma, Louisiana.

10 seconds of my day
After anchoring this morning, I headed to Baton Rouge to Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital to visit with some of the patients. It was a charity event for @kendrascott… Officially, the first Kendra Cares event. The theme was Kendra’s Candyland. I was Queen Frostine & @sportsmansparadiseteen was Princess Lolly. Some patients are secluded so we waved to them from their hospital room door. Seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces was heartwarming and humbling. Shoutout to all the healthcare professionals caring for them..

I’ve been going so non-stop that I haven’t had a chance to post on social media about my girls at all this week. Last night though, they all simply took my breath away! I am BEYOND proud of each and every one of these girls! My beautiful Pre-Teens killed it at @rpmfantasycamp and on stage with their modeling and Evangeline’s onstage question answer 🥹 and my five competitors set that stage on fire with their performances! Every single ounce of their hard work over the last six months showed and I know I speak for every single one of their family members, friends, and sponsors when I say that they represented all of us spectacularly!
Every girl competing absolutely killed it last night and I don’t envy the judges’ jobs this weekend!
