Today Durgashtami and Mahanavami 2021 CM Baghel Extens Greting and Best Wishes

Raipur, 13 October 2021: Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has extended greetings to people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Durgashtami and Mahanavami. On this occasion, Mr. Baghel prayed to Maa Durga for peace, prosperity and  progress of the people of the state. In his message, Mr. Baghel said that nine forms of Goddess are worshiped with devotion for nine days during Navratri, the great festival of Honouring Shakti- The Divine Feminine. In our country, on the occasion of Navratri, there has been a tradition of worshiping girls as goddess and offering them feast. Chief Minister said that respecting women is an important part of our tradition and culture,  and it is our responsibility to maintain these traditions ​​forever.

CM Bhupesh Baghel offers prayers at Maa Mahamaya Devi Temple, Ratanpur

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today reached Ratanpur, a famous religious place of Bilaspur district on the Ashtami of Navratri festival. He offered prayers to Goddess Mata in the Maa Mahamaya temple there and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. He also greeted the citizens on the occasion of Navratri.
    On this occasion Parliamentary Secretary and MLA Smt. Rashmi Singh, President of District Panchayat Bilaspur Shri Arun Singh Chouhan, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Bilaspur Shri Ramsharan Yadav, President of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Shri Atal Shrivastava, Shri Ashish Singh Thakur, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Sanjay Alang, Collector Dr. Saransh Mitter, SP Mr. Deepak Kumar Jha and many public representatives and dignitaries of the area were present.
