Dantewada: Trained Youth Now Earn good income by selling good quality lac
Dantewada, 11 June 2021 After selecting 17 tribal youths and 12 tribal girls of Parcheli village located in remote and Naxal affected area of the district, training related to production of lac was given by Geedam, a local registered size figure social service organization. On the guidance of the expert of the organization, Chief Instructor Mr. Anil Kumar and Assistant Instructor Mr. Subhash Yadav were given training through local bidding to increase the production rate of high quality lac. Along with this, kit bags of essential materials like runup, chulgi, sealing wax, pouch twine, katli, plastic bucket, knife, glove etc. were prepared and provided to the beneficiaries in lac production. Due to which the beneficiaries have been successful in increasing the profit and production of high quality. Now the beneficiaries of the above training are earning more income than before by selling lakhs in the local Haat market and are earning their living. Due to which the financial condition of the family has improved a lot. For this training, Rs 2 lakh 32 thousand was allocated by the government in the financial year 2019-20 under the special central assistance (capital) head to the district panchayat Katekalyan. Villagers of the region far away from sanctioning any other training work by this type of government. By giving training to them, their lifestyle and economic condition of the family can be further improved.
