Raipur 6 April 2020  Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel used online & mobile to know the situation during lockdown in the state, interacting through telephone yesterday, with women and Anganwadi workers of rural and urban areas today, about prevention of Corona virus infection.  

Chief Minister Baghel talked not only with the women living in urban areas, but also with the women living in distant forest regions.  

Chief Minister inquired about the benefits of government schemes and the supply of essential commodities during the lockdown period. Women said that the lockdown is being strictly followed by the people proactively in the urban as well as rural  areas.  

In Pithampur village, the villagers have put up a barrier and monitoring the arrival of people in village on its own in a proactive manner.  There is no problem of any type in the village and people are following  Social distancing on their own. People are getting vegetable, fruits, milk and ration easily at controlled prices.

During the telephonic interaction, Anganwadi worker Smt Anjani Sahu of Pithampur village in Mungeli district told the Chief Minister that the lockdown in the village is being strictly followed.  There are two routes in the village, people on both routes are being closely monitored by  installing barriers by villagers themselves.  Ready to eat food is being delivered at home to small children and pregnant mothers through Anganwadi centers.  The ready-to-eat food has been provided to 23 children aged 6 months to 3 years, 24 children from 3 years to 6 months and 60 pregnant mothers, 6 nursing mothers and 3 anemic women.  All the people in the village are residing inside their homes.  Ration is being distributed to everyone through PDS shop in the village.

Kiran Dehari from Kanker said that health of every family member is fine in the house.  Her husband runs a poultry farm which is currently closed.  Ready to eat food is being distributed through Anganwadi centers and dry ration has also been distributed.  She told that we got 35 kg of rice from fair price shops.  Chief Minister told Kiran Dehari that two months ration is being given free of cost by the state government.  No one has to pay any amount for this.  All of you should take special care of social distancing and cleanliness in village.

 Gayatri Netam of Madipara village of Bijapur district said that they are not facing any problem during the lockdown.  Small children and  mothers are getting nutritious food through Anganwadi centers.  

Smt. Jyoti Yadav of village Padoli Nawapara in Surguja district told that ration is being distributed in the village.  There is no problem with the lock down.

  Interacting with Chief Minister Baghel,  Smt. Anita Bhadoria, who lives at Jeevan Apartment in Rajnandgaon, said that the lock-down is being followed completely.  The lockdown has given the whole family an opportunity to stay together all the day.  There is no problem in getting fruits and vegetables at reasonable and controlled  prices.  Government instructions are being followed.  She said that we all have to defeat Corona together.

      Smt. Mansi Namdev of Kabir Nagar Raipur told that she works as a teacher in school.  Chief Minister Shri Baghel also spoke to Mansi's husband.  Mansi's husband told the Chief Minister that he works in the Labour Court. We both husband and wife are helping each other in household work.  Everybody is healthy and  Lock down is being followed strictly in their locality.

     Smt Beddi Saggo of village Penta in Sukma district informed that nutritious food is being delivered  through the Anganwadi centers in the village.  In the village, nobody is infected with Corona.  All villagers are getting the benefits of government schemes  in the village.  

Smt. Kalyani Shendre of Bilaspur told the Chief Minister that daily necessities are easily available without any problem. Everyone is following social distancing in the locality.

Raipur 5 April 2020  Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today telephoned the first woman infected with Corona in the state from his residence office to know about his well being. The woman said that she is now completely healthy. According to the guide line at home, she is following quarantine. The woman told the Chief Minister that there was full support from the medical team and the state government. This has encouraged him and his family.
       The woman told the chief minister that three of her friends were suffering from Corona, but she recovered first. Three friends were admitted in Chandigarh and one in Bengal. He said that seven out of ten corona infected patients have been cured in Chhattisgarh. The percentage of patients recovering is 70. The care of the Korana patients is getting better in the state. Due to this, the name of Chhattisgarh is being illuminated not only in the country but in the whole world.
      The woman said that the whole family's courage was boosted by constant support from the Chief Minister. The girl also thanked him for this. The girl said that my spirits have increased after talking to you. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel hoped during the conversation that the three corona-infected patients will also recover soon and return to their homes.
