Dhamtari 12 September 2021: Ganeshotsav is being organized in the district from September 10, in connection with which Collector and District Magistrate Shri PS Alma has issued an order to strictly follow the instructions of the government for the prevention of infection of Kovid-19.

Collector and District Magistrate have said that the organizing committees have been ordered to follow the SOP issued by the government regarding Kovid-19. The size of the pandal at the venue will be less than 15 by 15 and the maximum height of the statue will be up to 8 feet. There should be an empty space of 500 feet in front of the idol pandal, so that people can see the idols from a distance of six feet. It has also been said in the order that not more than 50 people can stay in front of the pandal at a time and chairs will not be kept in front of the pandal. Organizing of Bhoj, Jagrata, Sangeet Mandali, Bhandara or cultural programs in the pandal will be prohibited. Also, Band Baja, Dhumal and DJ will not be used during the immersion of the idol. This order will come into force with immediate effect.

So far 26 thousand 488 patients affected by Kovid 19 virus have become healthy in Dhamtari district. On September 11, not a single positive case was found in the district. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr.DKTurre said that a total of three lakh 38 thousand 60 people were sampled in the district, out of which a total of 27063 positive patients were identified. Out of these, where 26 thousand 488 patients have become healthy, at present the number of active patients is eight in the district. It has been told that for testing of corona virus, samples of 58 thousand 530 people were tested in the district by RTPCR, 41 thousand 989 by True-Not and two lakh 37 thousand 488 people with rapid antigen insect. In this way, a sample test of a total of three lakh 38 thousand 60 people has been done.
