Tributes paid to martyr forest workers on National Forest Martyrs Day

Raipur, 11 September 2021: On the occasion of National Forest Martyrs Day, today on 11 September, a circle level tribute meeting was organized under the direction of Chief Conservator of Forests Shri Mohammad Shahid at Circle Headquarters Jagdalpur. All the officers and employees present in the program offered floral tributes by lighting a lamp in the honor of the martyrs of forest workers under the Jagalpur Forest Circle.

On this occasion shawls and shriphal were presented to the relatives of the martyr, Mrs. Subay, Mrs. Tulsa Markam and Mr. Deepak Kumar Patel. A national salute was given to the forest martyr and after the national anthem, a two-minute silence was paid to pay homage. Chief Forest Conservator of Forests Shri Abhay Shrivastava, Forest Divisional Officer Bastar Forest Division Ms. Stylo Mandavi, Forest Divisional Officer Social Forestry, Director Kanger Ghati National Park, all Deputy Forest Divisional Officers, Zone Officers and Regional Forest Officers were present in the tribute meeting.
