Ambikapur 10 August 2021: Contract recruitment is being done on various posts in Swami Atmanand Government Excellent English Medium Higher Secondary Boys School Batauli, Lakhanpur, Dhaurpur, Mainpat and SAEMS Girls School Udaipur. Interviews are being conducted for the recruitment of vacancies in these educational institutions. These interviews will be conducted from 13 August 2021 to 23 August 2021 in two shifts each.

Ambikapur 9 June 2020 Collector and District Magistrate Sanjeev Kumar Jha said the quarantine to prevent the spread of corona virus infection on confirmation of 8 corona positive patients in the Quarantine Center operated in DAV Chief Minister Public School, Kewari, Taparkelain Lakhanpur Tehsil of Surguja District. The center has been declared a contention zone with immediate effect.
