- Poultry farm opened after encroachment: warning given

Additional collector and corporation commissioner Prakash Kumar Sarve reached the Nevai Basti area as soon as the information about the woman living in the last end of the Risali Corporation got serious and the team of Chief Minister Slum Health Scheme reached home and got treatment. He asked the health team members how the woman was doing. The commissioner gave instructions to treat the sick woman till she is completely healthy.
Sowbhagyavati husband Birendra (64), resident of New Bhatha, Oriya Basti, became seriously ill due to increase in sugar and blood pressure. She was lying on the cot in a small room. As soon as the team working under the Chief Minister's Slum Health Scheme came to know about this, he got him out of the room by putting him on a wheel chair and started treatment. Later Commissioner Navai Bhatha arrived and after knowing the object situation gave special attention to the woman and directed treatment.
Poultry farm operator granted time
The commissioner visited the Poultry Farm while visiting Ward 32 Navai Bhatha. During this, the commissioner asked the poultry farm operator Ashok Jena to document the land and the operation of the poultry farm. On lack of documents, the commissioner directed to remove encroachment and operate poultry farms elsewhere. The commissioner gave 2 months' time to shift the business to another place after seeing the chickens.
Notice to private school operators too
The corporation is keeping an eye on those who do the business of education under the guise of the slum colony. Actually, 3 such educational institutes were found during inspection in Newai Bhatha, which does not have any record of construction in the corporation. Schools were closed during the commissioner's visit. The commissioner has instructed to investigate whether the land has been encroached under the guise of the school.
