There are only a few days left for the end of the financial year 2021-22. Keeping this in view that the registration work should not be affected in the event of holidays, the Inspector General of Registration and Superintendent of Stamps of the State Government has issued instructions to keep the registration offices open even on holidays.
In compliance with this, Collector Shri P.S. Elma has sent a letter to the Deputy Registrar, Dhamtari, Kurud and Nagri, asking them to ensure that the registration offices are kept open even during holidays for the convenience of the general public and revenue collection.
In the letter issued to the Deputy Registrars, it has been said that apart from Sunday 20 March, Saturday 26 March, Sunday 27 March, on the occasion of Bhakta Mata Karma Jayanti, on Monday 28 March, the registration office, treasury and related banks will remain open during the official holiday.
The Collector informed that by opening the treasury on holidays, the supply of stamps would be done as per the requirement and the concerned banks would open to provide the facility of government transactions and e-stamps. He has asked the Deputy Registrars, Dhamtari, Kurud and Nagari to ensure that the registration work should be done by opening the office during the above holiday period.
