2ND AMERICAN, The 7TH IN THE WORLD @ WMH
I am so grateful for such an amazing first World Championships in Montreal. I am so excited to walk away with both recalls, a World Medal, and a top 10 placement. From not qualifying for 2019, Covid cancellations in 2020 and 2021, and a transfer ban in 2022, 10 year old Lizzie’s dreams of dancing on the World’s stage have finally been fulfilled. There are so many people to thank that have been a part of this journey. Whether it’s my Singapore family who started me out as a beginner, my Pennsylvania family who took my passion for dance to another level, Mike who makes sure I stay healthy, Mimi and Jordan who have trained me and improved my strength and performance over the years, Conor and his team for my new dress, the #1 cheerleader Barb for your pep talks, and all of the friends I have made from around the world, thank you. The biggest thank you is to my teachers who have helped me become the dancer and person I am today. I wouldn’t be here without you and I am so grateful for everything you have taught me. Special thanks to Meagan and the team at McGough for all you have done. And of course, thank you so much to my parents for supporting my journey and always being there for me. I am so grateful!
