Newly crowned Margarita Golubeva Miss Universe Russia 2023 will represent her country with the national flag at upcoming The 72ND Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador at the pageant venue Adolfo Pineda National Gymnasium (Gimnasio Nacional Adolfo Pineda) on Saturday November 18, 2023 where the reigning Miss Universe 2022, R'Bonney Gabriel will crown her successor at the end of Grand Finale.

Get to know Margarita Golubeva

Margarita is currently studying at two universities simultaneously in two different professions - customs service and singing. She has been singing since she was five years old and now is a professional singer. My greatest power is my ability to combine incompatible things.

• I’m most proud of my ability to combine incompatible things and to enjoy every moment in my life.

• If I could have any superpower, it would be the ability to manipulate time and to be in two different places at the same time. This would help me keep up with both of the universities that I attend and all my creative projects.

• I’m inspired by my mom and how she lives her life while having four children and a hard job as a doctor in an oncology center.

• If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be honesty.

• I’m happiest when I do some creative work such as writing my own songs and performing on stage.

• I can’t live without dumplings.

The Runner-up to Miss Russia 2023 Margarita Golubeva (St. Petersburg) are 1st Vice-Miss Russia Elizaveta Dudina (Tolyatti) 1ST Runner-up and 2nd Miss Russia Lyubov Khokholova (Republic of Sakha - Yakutia) 2nd Runner-up. Golubeva, 22, comes from St. Petersburg and is a fifth-year student at the Russian Customs Academy and a second-year student at the Moscow State Institute of Culture at the Faculty of Musical Arts with profile “pop-jazz singing”. Her Motto in life is "What is mine will come, what is not mine will bypass."

She has been doing vocals since the age of 5 years, and in 2021 had the opportunity to become a participant in the anniversary season of the show “The Voice-10” on Channel 1.

Golubeva says "Thanks to perseverance and constant work on myself after the show, I decided to develop professionally in this area and entered the Moscow State Institute of Cinematography into the department of pop and jazz singing under the guidance of People's Artist of Russia Larisa Aleksandrovna Dolina."
