Sun, Sep 3, 2023: The Reigning Queen Andreína Martínez 2ND Runner-up Miss Universe 2022, Miss Universe RD 2022 and Miss República Dominicana 2022 has handed over her reign to her successor Mariana Lynn Dówning de los Santos aka Mariana Downing Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2023 / Miss República Dominicana 2023. Downing has won over 24 Contestants and crowned at the end of Grand Finale today at the pageant venue Salón de Eventos Sambil in Santo Domingo, Sánchez Ramírez today on Sunday, September 3rd, 2023.

The Philosophy Student, Dominican-British Mariana Downing, 27, is a Model and Actress of Now Is Everything, a 2019 film directed by Ricardo Spinotti and Valentina De Amicis. She and played the role of Alice with Hollywood Actor Anthony Hopkins and American Actress Madeline Brewer along with Camille Rowe, Melora Walters, Rita Taggart, Mickey Sumner, Skylar Gray and Ray Nicholson. Downing lives in Miami to pursue her acting and modeling career and appearing with few top brands.

Newly crowned Mariana Downing Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2023 will represent her nation with the national flag at the upcoming 72ND Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador at the pageant venue Adolfo Pineda National Gymnasium (Gimnasio Nacional Adolfo Pineda) on Saturday November 18, 2023 where the reigning Miss Universe 2022, R'Bonney Gabriel will crown her successor at the end of Grand Finale.
