Eco Pageants UK will no longer be holding licenses for or sending candidates to the Miss Eco International competitions.
We have taken this decision for two main reasons. Firstly, after safeguarding concerns at this year’s international competition, we feel that candidates safety cannot be guaranteed to the minimum standard that we expect. 
Secondly, due to differences of opinion regarding inclusivity in pageantry, we want to be clear that Eco Pageants UK will always be fully inclusive of all communities and individuals. There were other issues and concerns behind the scenes but these are the two main reasons that would affect our candidates.
We want to thank Charlotte and Melissa for their exceptional representation of EPUK, they have been the perfect examples of true queens 👑
We truly know that this is the right decision for our organisation and our candidates. If anyone would like any further information on this announcement our inbox is always open. We are very proud to say that we will still be crowning 4 Miss queens, at our glittering grand finals in July! Further announcements to come! Thank you so much to the UK pageant community for supporting EPUK for the past two years, we can’t wait for you to see what’s next!
