Newly crowned Earlyca Frederick Miss Universe Saint Lucia 2023 will represent her nation with the national flag at the upcoming 72ND Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador at the pageant venue Adolfo Pineda National Gymnasium (Gimnasio Nacional Adolfo Pineda) on Saturday November 18, 2023 where the reigning Miss Universe 2022, R'Bonney Gabriel will crown her successor at the end of Grand Finale.

New Queen Earlyca Frederick Miss Universe Saint Lucia 2023 is the 33RD Entry to Class of Miss Universe 2023 and The First St. Lucian Beauty Queen in the era of Dr. Anne JKN.

I am extremely grateful for the heartfelt support and encouragement that I’ve received on this journey. I see the outpouring of love and care everyday and I’m deeply touched by it all! You all have made this journey lighter

To the Miss Universe Saint Lucia National Director Joycie Mederick and her team I say a huge thank you for affording me this opportunity to learn and grow under your tutelage. It has been a remarkable journey and I am thankful for the relationships that have been forged during the process.

This journey started long before Miss Universe Saint Lucia though and I’ve manifested a 3 year old’s childhood dream from tiaras to crowns 
literally and tonight the work that the good lord started in me shall be complete! There’s much work to be done thereafter but we have come a long way

Tonight, I intend to be authentically me. I intend to be graceful, and poised while demonstrating the strength that all country girls possess. Whatever the outcome, I AM QUEEN and I AM A MAGNET OF EXCELLENCE!

I took a leap of faith and I am super proud of me. I’ve come this far and now I let the universe take over.

I am Earlyca. I am everything that is Choiseul and even more so-everything that is Saint Lucia. 
At the end of this journey, it is my hope to inspire and empower beyond beauty by redefining its definition. This platform affords us so many opportunities. Dispelling the notion that pageantry is solely about the comparison of outer beauty and as a result doesn’t place enough emphasis on intellect and inner beauty, is a subject that is very close to my heart.

Thu, June 01, 2023 Hollywood and Saint Lucia: The Miss Saint Lucia Organization, a group of former Pageant Queens, run by National Director Joycie Mederick today revealed Top 3 Contestants to 11TH Miss Universe Saint Lucia 2023 saying “The journey started with eight delegates we are on our way to Coronation 2023.”

The Reigning Queen Sheris Paul Miss Universe Saint Lucia 2022 will crown her successor at the end of Grand Finale on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Sandals Grande St. Lucian.

National Director Joycie Mederick also started a unique initiative saying Beauty pageant the words that make many of us hold our breath... simply because far too often we envision the negative aspects; exploiting beauty, judging women based on their looks on stage, and destroying little girls' childhood.” She asks “But is that all there is to it?” and invited “I would like to share my journey and lifelong experiences with you pageant hopefuls. Let us start the conversations, ask the questions, share your thoughts and I will endeavor to provide you with the relevant information.”
