After Four Years Gap, New Miss Universe Egypt Reincarnates, Diana Hamed was Miss Universe Egypt 2019

Mon, Sep 25, 2023: Mohra Tantawy has won over four contestants, Aya Abdelrazik, Amera Othman, Doaa Meera Tarek, and Salma Eltoukhy. She is crowned New Miss Universe Egypt 2023.

Amera Othman has won People’s Choice Award and The 1ST Runner-up is Aya Abdelrazik.

The judges are Afaf Meky, Ahmed Elnekhaily, Celeste Cortesi, Genevieve Yap, Hanan Elwani, Dr. Jonas John Apostol, Mai Omar, “Ramona Thornes” Arci Muño,z Sabrina Co, Sameera Shah and Troy Reinhart. The Coronation Show was hosted by Evlin Khalifa Miss Universe Bahrain.

Newly crowned Mohra Tantawy Miss Universe Egypt 2023 will represent her country with the national flag at upcoming The 72ND Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador at the pageant venue Adolfo Pineda National Gymnasium (Gimnasio Nacional Adolfo Pineda) on Saturday November 18, 2023 where the reigning Miss Universe 2022, R'Bonney Gabriel will crown her successor at the end of Grand Finale.

New Queen Mohra Tantawy Miss Universe Egypt 2023 is the 75TH Entry to Class of Miss Universe 2023 and The First Egyptian Beauty Queen in the era of Dr. Anne JKN.

The Miss Egypt Organization commented announcing her victory "Tantawy stole the hearts of the judges and the fans with her charismatic beauty, authentic communication skills and a passionate heart towards her advocacies. During the final Q&A segment, Tantawy was asked: “What do you think is the biggest reason why poverty still exists in many countries in the world?” Her winning answer captured the hearts of the jury “I believe, the main reason why poverty still exists in many countries is the lack of resources such as education or the lack of economic opportunities and if I was to be Miss Universe Egypt, I would work with both local and international organization to create micro-funding environment and to empower these people that are stuck in the unfortunate circumstance of poverty and just empower them to break out of the cycle.”
