Thursday, October 19, 2023: Today Mongolia came out with a surprise nomination. Namuunzul Batmagnai is named to represent Mongolia at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador. The exact reason is announced by the Miss Universe Mongolia Organization in an statement issued today, read here -

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 2023.10.19 
We hereby wish to formally announce the successful culmination of the "Miss Universe Mongolia 2023" competition, which took place on October 10th. It is with great pride and honor that we declare Nominzul Zandan as the national winner of this esteemed event. 
However, it is with a heavy heart that we convey that, regrettably, our national winner, Z. Nominzul, will be unable to represent Mongolia at the 72nd Miss Universe pageant, scheduled to commence on November 2nd in El Salvador.

In light of this unforeseen situation, our organization has taken the necessary steps to address this matter. We have, in an official capacity, submitted a formal request to JKN Universe, the governing body of the Miss Universe competition, to kindly consider allowing Z. Nominzul to participate in the 2024 Miss Universe competition.

In the interim, the individual who will represent Mongolia in this year's competition will be designated in accordance with our agreement with the organization and in adherence to the applicable rules and regulations. The selection will be made from among the participants who achieved the subsequent top positions in the competition.

The chosen representative will be announced to the public in due course. We appreciate the understanding and support of our stakeholders, sponsors, and the public during this challenging time. We are resolute in ensuring that Mongolia continues to be represented with excellence and grace on the global stage.

On the same day in another revelation the organization told "Batmagnain Namuunzul @nmwnzvl who will represent her country in 72nd Miss Universe contest. Good luck on your big trip to El Salvador to compete with the beauties of 90 countries around the world " In this was she become Miss Universe Mongolia 2023 and Nominzul Zandangiin is now Miss Universe Mongolia 2024.

Newly named & crowned Namuunzul Batmagnai Miss Universe Mongolia 2023 will represent her country with the national flag at upcoming The 72ND Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador at the pageant venue Adolfo Pineda National Gymnasium (Gimnasio Nacional Adolfo Pineda) on Saturday November 18, 2023 where the reigning Miss Universe 2022, R'Bonney Gabriel will crown her successor at the end of Grand Finale.

New Queen Namuunzul Batmagnai Miss Universe Mongolia 2023 is the 84TH Entry to Class of Miss Universe 2023 and The First Mongolian Beauty Queen in the era of Dr. Anne JKN.
