Neveah Kee is CROWNED Miss South Dakota's Teen 2023

Fri, June 2, 2023 Hollywood and Brookings: The Reigning Teen Queen Olivia Odenbrett Miss South Dakota's Teen 2022 has just crowned her successor, the winner against 15 Contestants, Miss Missouri River’s Teen Neveah Kee as the new Miss South Dakota's Teen 2023 at the end of Teen Grand Finale on Friday, June 2, 2023 which started at 6pm.

Newly Crowned Teen Queen Neveah Kee Miss South Dakota's Teen 2023 is 12TH Entry to Class of 2023 to Miss America’s Teen 2024 and represent her SD state at the national stage, where Washington’s Morgan Greco Miss America’s Teen 2023 will crown her successor at the end of grand finale.

The Court of Teen Queen Neveah Kee Miss South Dakota's Teen 2023 has four runners-up, Briley Steffensen 1st Runner-up, Crimsun Hotz 2nd Runner-up, Amelie Wilcox 3rd Runner-up and Natalie Biegler 4th Runner-up.

The Talented Teen, Kee is Student at Faulkton High School who introduces herself as “I am junior at Faulkton High School and am planning to pursue a bachelors degree in Musical Theater and Music. I am active in my school's Oral Interpretation, One-Act Play, and All-School Play programs. I am currently employed at Faulkton Senior Living and in the summers I work as a lifeguard at Faulkton Pool.”

She was awarded Superior with Distinction Issued by South Dakota Activity Association in November 2022 for her Oral Interpretation serious monologue along with Superior for serious monologue performed at the state level and Superior Actress Award Received at the state level for One-Act Play in 2021. Kee works as Certified Nursing Assistant, Lifeguard Cheerleader too. She is from Faulkton, her Talent is Vocal and CSI, Community Service Initiative is Elder Abuse Awareness.

Lakota Tech High School has commented on its student winning "LTHS student Crimsun Hotz finishes in the top 3 as second runner-up! We are so proud of her for being recognized as one of the top contestants in the state! Congrats to all the contestants on a job well done representing their areas and showcasing their talents on a big stage!" She is Miss Badlands Teen and shared her platform of Cultural Diversity Awareness. She performed and spoke at many schools and events throughout the Pine Ridge Reservation and Western South Dakota.

I don’t even know what to say other than thank you for this once in a lifetime opportunity! I would’ve never thought what this year would hold, but this year has been such a privilege and a blessing!

This year has taught me growth and balance! Showed me to let my personality shine, form amazing connections, and so much more! I will be forever grateful for everything this organization has given me.

There are so many memories that when I look on the shelf with my crown sitting on it, I will smile wide reminiscing everything it has taught me. Not only that it has given me confidence and strength but a future as well! The opportunities this year opened is incredible and I will never forget this year! Thank you to ever that has been a part of my year, you have been my biggest support!

Thank you so much South Dakota for letting me represent this beautiful state, I hope I made you proud!
