The Hawaiian Boxer Takes Miss Hawaii Crown Home
Sat, June 3, 2023 Hollywood and Honolulu: The Reigning Queen Miss Hawaii 2022 Lauren Teruya has just crowned her successor, the winner against 20 Contestants, Miss Chinatown Hawaii Star Dahl-Thurston as new Miss Hawaii 2023 at the end of Grand Finale today on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 which started at 6:30pm HST at Hawaii Theatre Center Honolulu.
Newly crowned Star Dahl-Thurston Miss Hawaii 2023 will represent her HI state at the upcoming 96TH Miss America 2024 where at the end of Grand Finale the reigning queen Grace Stanke Miss America 2023 will crown her successor who emerged winner in 51 contestants as new Miss America 2024.
New Queen Star Dahl-Thurston is the 6TH Entry to The Class of Miss America 2023 after Miranda O’Bryan Miss South Dakota 2023, Madison Marsh Miss Colorado 2023, Caroline Parente Miss Rhode Island 2023, Brooke Mills Miss New Hampshire 2023 and Yamuna Turco Miss Vermont 2023.
Dahl-Thurston has Studied at American University and Punahou School. Star Lives in Washington D.C. and her hometown is Honolulu, Hawaii. She is Aspiring Film Producer and Founder of Kahua Kollective Community with mission to invest in female leaders in order to unlock authenticity, build self-esteem, and empower engagement within their communities.
Mothers Day is a tough one for me but I am so grateful to have gotten to fly up and spend it with people I love in LA!! What a weekend! I want to introduce to you Kahua Kollective! It’s my non-profit launching later this summer, whose purpose is to invest in female leaders through workshops and curriculum that aims to unlock authenticity, build self esteem and empower community engagement! This past Saturday we hosted our first ever event: Kahua Kollective’s Success and Sisterhood Session! We laughed, we cried and WE ATE!
