Vivian O’Neal is CROWNED Miss Mississippi 2023: Wins Fitness Award at Miss America 2024

The Reigning Queen Emmie Perkins Miss Mississippi 2022 has just crowned her successor as Miss Mississippi 2023, The Winner against 37 Contestants, Miss Pine Belt, Vivian O’Neal at the end of Grand Finale today on Saturday June 10th 2023 which started at 8pm in the stage of Vicksburg Convention Center LIVE Streamed at MissMissLIVE.com.

Newly crowned Vivian O’Neal Miss Mississippi 2023 will represent her MS state at the upcoming 96TH Miss America 2024 where at the end of Grand Finale the reigning queen Grace Stanke Miss America 2023 will crown her successor who emerged winner in 51 contestants as new Miss America 2024.

New Queen Vivian O’Neal is the 18TH Entry to The Class of Miss America 2024. She works as Honors College Coordinator of Recruitment and Strategic Communication at The University of Southern Mississippi who lives in Hattiesburg. She has announced about the appointment saying “Last month I started as the Coordinator of Recruitment and Strategic Communication for the Honors College at USM! I love this university with all my heart and am so dang proud of it. And now I get to tell students why they should love it too, All that talking when I wasn’t supposed to finally paid off because now it’s my job!”

Last year she took home Miss Hattiesburg Crown. She is Author of “Josiah’s Big Day!” — the first in a companion children’s book series to the CapABLE curriculum. Vivian worked for almost 10 years with Miss America Opportunity (Organization at that time), tells about her work “Since 2013, I have been a contractor of the Miss America Organization. In this role, it is my job to demonstrate the morals and standards of the Miss America Organization, including but not limited to leadership, civic engagement, community service, academic excellence, and mentorship.” She is MEd degree holder and Professional talker who has founded CapABLE is a nonprofit that equips educators with disability inclusion resources that empower ALL students, check more at the website Capablecurriculum.com.

The Court of Queen, Miss Pine Belt, Vivian O’Neal Miss Mississippi 2023 includes Miss Hattiesburg Angel Gail Lang, Miss Leaf River Valley Neeley Robertson, Miss Metro Jackson Becky Williams, Miss University Ally Hopper.

O’Neal says “The thing about my goal of becoming Miss Mississippi is that it has absolutely nothing to do with me. Miss Mississippi is a vehicle to accomplish goals that are so much bigger than just Vivian – it’s seeing lives change through scholarship and educational opportunities, continuing to fight for inclusivity, serving the state of Mississippi, and advocating for women, all while getting to be my most people-person-social-butterfly self.”
