Wed, Jun 7, 2023 Hollywood and Vicksburg: The Reigning Queen Emmie Perkins Miss Mississippi 2022 is going to have her last walk at the end of Grand Finale on Saturday June 10th 2023 at the stage of Vicksburg Convention Center and crown her successor as Miss Mississippi 2023 who will represent the state at Miss America 2024 stage.

This time Mississippi is waiting for The Miss America Crown after having 4 Miss Americas, Mary Ann Mobley Miss America 1959, Lynda Lee Mead Miss America 1960, Cheryl Prewitt Miss America 1980 and Susan Akin Miss America 1986. Till now the state has recorded Total 29 Placement along with tons of special awards.

Hattiesburg’s Emmie Perkins was crowned by Holly Brand Miss Mississippi 2021 at the same pageant venue Vicksburg Convention Center on Saturday June 25, 2022. Perkins presented her talent at Miss America 2023 stage and returned as the Jean Bartel Social Impact Initiative winner.

Miss Metro Jackson’s Teen Nataleigh Nix was crowned Miss Mississippi’s Teen 2023 who won over 15 Contestants by Cameron Davis Miss Mississippi’s Teen 2022 before last month on Saturday, April 23rd, 2023 at Vicksburg Auditorium.
