Sharné Dheochand is crowned Miss Grand South Africa 2024

The successor of Miss Grand South Africa 2023, Gugulethu Mosibudi Mayisela is Sharné Dheochand who won over 27 Contestants and is crowned new Miss Grand South Africa 2024 at The Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace the host the elegance, women empowerment and dazzling moment at 10TH Miss Grand South Africa on Saturday June 1, 2024 starting at 7PM.

Thulani Ndzotyana and Lenie Pieterse are hosts for The Grand Finale and Coronation.

New Queen Miss Grand South Africa 2024,  Sharné Dheochand will represent her country at The12TH Miss Grand International 2024 on Friday October 25, 2024 in Myanmar.

Queen Sharné Dheochand is owner of Blush & Brush MUA and Deochand Models.

The Runners Up & Top 5 are:

Miss Grand South Africa 2024 Crowning & Results on June 1st at Theatre of Marcellus in Emperors Palace

The Grand Finale and Coronation Show will start at 17:00 in in Kempton Park, Johannesburg.

The Judges for Miss Grand South Africa 2024 are:

  1. Pierre Nel:Known for his commitment to excellence and keen eye for talent, Dr Pierre Nel expertise spans performance and pageantry, earning him a stellar reputation as a trusted leader in the industry.
  2. Kat Ncala: – A multi-talented TV host, model, and former beauty queen, with her vibrant energy and industry.
  3. Adele Loots Stander: A renowned pageant judge, Adele’s passion for empowering young women and her extensive experience in the beauty pageant industry.
  4. Karabo Mbonani: With her impressive background in pageantry and fashion, Karabo’s keen eye for detail and dedication to excellence.

As per the Miss Grand South Africa Organization “The finalist, with the most reactions, will receive a special award at the grand finale on the 1st of June at the prestigious Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace.”

The Contestant Odwa Nyeke told “Red My Lips is an international nonprofit organization designed to raise visibility and awareness about the realities and prevalence of sexual violence while combating rape myths and victim-blaming. We run an annual global awareness and action campaign where our fierce and fearless supporters rock red lipstick all throughout the month of April (Sexual Assault Awareness Month) to demonstrate solidarity and support for survivors and start important conversations with people in their lives.”

The Contestant Pertunia Matsheko Mathole asks “May we continue to have meaningful conversations about societal issues that are dearest to our hearts. May we continue to he advocates of peace, educate our communities about all forms of Violence.”

The Contestant Sivuyisile Malinga calls “Pain is pain. Let us equally share our pains and not disregard any pain. Let us love, respect, and accept one another and our diffences because we are one. Speak up! Your pain matters! You matter!”
